Germany: ever more organic consumers
06/16/2007
A survey carried out in late 2006 in Germany has confirmed the continued rise in the number of organic consumers. The percentage of German consumers who occasionally purchase organic products has risen from 88% in 2005 to 91% in 2006.
Of those questioned, 66% felt that it is perfectly normal that organic foods should be more expensive, compared to 10% who believed that the on-cost is not justified.
